My British parents moved to South Africa when I was a kid so I have a bit of a Cape Town twang to my accent.  I've probably lived half my life in Africa and half here in the UK. I love to travel and immerse myself in new cultures and surround myself with interesting adventurous people. In my teens I trained as a classical pianist. I never really liked the stage or performing so I explored hospitality and immersed myself in Thai and Chinese food cultures. When I moved to London I trained to be a sommelier and served kings and queens and famous movies stars. As a pub manager I lost myself in late night reveries with locals and became comfortable with English culture discovering my roots as it were. I've been flown to places like New York, Havana, Basel, Amsterdam filming Behind the Scenes for major production companies and been on a road trip across Cuba filming a band of classical musicians. I've even filmed sheep farmers in the Alps! I'm an adventurer of sorts. Always looking for new and stimulating experiences. Filming combines both my talents for music and photography and filming weddings gives me carte blanch to explore new techniques and do the thing I love: visual story telling.
